The State of Web Development, 2007.
iiNet (my ISP) has started offering movies on demand, by partnering with ANYTIME on VOLT. "Awesome! I can use this with my new Apple TV!" I think to myself. Sadly, it was not to be. I was greeted with a brain dead message telling me to restart my browser and load the site in IE6.
Flashback to 1999... egads. Do people really still develop this way? Whoever is running this company needs to sack the CTO.

It's not so bad considering the movies only work with IE and windows. Also they say that you can continue to use the site, but it might not work very well.
Definitely shit though. I thought it was cool - until I saw that, and the fact that all the movies are old and over priced ($5.95 AUD). Also you can only watch them for one day. eeeeew.
Wow, this company is a relic:
"You have reached a site that is only accessible by Australian residents. Thank you."
LOL
