I'm having some trouble securing a venue for this year's GGJ. Due to the Perth GGJ being a purely volunteer run effort... yeah it's just me... with very limited funds, I need a sponsor to provide a venue.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Telstra are supplying free wireless net access via a NextG modem, so we could in theory meet at the beach each day. Now wouldn't that be novel.

Was it at the Bakery northbridge before or was that something else?
Whats the min location requirements?
It was at Murdoch Uni last year. I didn't have funds to rent the bakery.
Ideally we need chairs, desks and power for 20-30 people. And air conditioning. Lots of air conditioning.
ECU isn't working out?
Nah, ECU are going through hardware upgrades over that weekend.
How much do you need to rent the Bakery?
I don't recall the exact figures (RJ worked them out), but I think totals costs came between 2-4k. This included table and chair hire, hire for a Bakery person(s) to supervise for the weekend, and other misc.
