Google Analytics and Unity3D

We've just released an extension which enables your Unity3D game to post data off to Google Analytics.

It's called Analytics, funnily enough.

does this work for mobile? or just a helper bridge to the javascript API on desktops/web builds?

is there an API for this anywhere? does it support just events, or more of the GA features like ecommerce and adding custom properties to events?

also since GA changes their API now and then, and this was posted in 2011, I'm wondering if you are keeping it current.

it seems that it's just copy-paste from unity forum :)

The asset mentioned in original post doesn't seem to be available anymore.

I'd like to mention my solution for integrating Google Analytics to Unity projects:
https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/#/content/11098

Website: http://strobotnik.com/unity/googleuniversalanalytics/
Forum thread: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/202335-Google-Universal-Analytics

Google's new Universal Analytics has a "measurement protocol" specification, and the above package uses that to send hits to analytics. The advantage here is that there's no need for native library for each platform. So the same code actually works on mobile, desktop and web player platforms (Desktop - Windows, OSX, Linux, Windows8; Mobile - iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8, BlackBerry 10; Browser - Unity Web Player plugin). It's implemented in pure C# and uses Unity's WWW class for networking.
